Peer Review Process

The Editorial Process for a submission to the journal consists of a review, typically a blind peer review, followed by a section editor's decision to accept or decline the submission. If accepted in the Review stage of the Editorial Process, the submission then goes through the Editing stage which consists of copyediting, layout and proofreading.

Then the submission is scheduled for publication in an issue of the journal. Depending on how the journal has been organized, the Editorial Process can be conducted by a single Editor or by a team of Editors, Sections Editors, Copyeditors, Layout Editors, and Proofreaders. Article processing fee is 100€ for accepted papers. Following the receipt of payment, an official acceptance letter will be provided.

The Journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractices. Submitting researches by all authors mean that they assured their manuscripts are original and attest that the submitted papers represent their contributions and have not been copied or plagiarized in whole or in part from other Works. All submissions will be checked by iThenticate before being sent to reviewers according to the Journal’s Zero Tolerance on the Plagiarism Policy

The Journal aims to promote the development of global Open Access to scientific information and research. The Publisher provides copyrights of all online published papers (except where otherwise noted) for free use of readers, scientists, and institutions (such as link to the content or permission for its download, distribution, printing, copying, and reproduction in any medium, except change of contents and for commercial use), under the terms of Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 4.0 Unported (CC BY-NC) License, provided the original work is cited. Written permission is required from the publisher for use of its contents for commercial purposes.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge, meaning:

  • everyone has free and unlimited access to the full-text of articles published in this journal; manuscripts are freely available without subscription or price barriers
  • papers are immediately released in open access format (no long waiting periods),
  • Open Access publication is supported by authors' institutes or research funding agency by payment of a comparatively low Article Processing Fee (APF) for accepted articles.

High Visibility and High Availability - free and unlimited accessibility of the publication over the internet without any restrictions.

Open Access publications are more frequently cited due to their high publicity and availability.

Publications are also more easily searchable in search engines and indexing databases.

Less Costly - the cost of editorial processing and editing fee of each accepted paper is charged to authors' institutes or research funding agency. The cost of processing and the publication of an article is covered through the one-time payment of an Article Processing Fee (APF) for each accepted article.

Rapid Publication - accepted papers are immediately published online.

The definition of OA introduced in the original BOAI:

By “open access” to [peer-reviewed research literature], we mean its free availability on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. The only constraint on reproduction and distribution, and the only role for copyright in this domain, should be to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited.

Journal’s open access policy is committed to the recommendations and standards of Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
